Terms of use

These terms are the rules for using taipei-gta.com. They are written plainly on purpose, because the site is a free independent guide and not a product you buy. In short: use it for its intended purpose, understand that it comes without guarantees, accept that the game's own menus are authoritative for how the game works, and raise any disagreement with us by email before anything else.

Last updated:

By opening this site and reading its pages you accept these terms. If you do not, the remedy is simple: do not use the site. Nothing here changes the terms of the game itself, which is operated separately and may have its own rules.

Acceptable use

This is a reference site. You are welcome to read it, link to it and quote short passages with credit. You are not welcome to break it or to use it to break something else.

  • Do not attack the site. No attempts to overload it, probe it for weaknesses, or disrupt it for other readers.
  • Do not scrape it wholesale. Bulk copying every page to republish under another name is not a use this site allows.
  • Do not misrepresent it. Do not present this site as official, as the game's own website, or as endorsed by anyone connected to the game.
  • Do not misuse the contact address. Corrections and questions are welcome; bulk mail and abuse are not.

No warranty

The site is provided as is and as available. We do not promise that it will always be online, always correct, always complete or free of mistakes, and we do not promise that a page will suit your particular device, browser or purpose. Guides are written from careful testing, but testing done by a small group on a handful of devices. If you need a guarantee, this site is not able to give you one.

Content accuracy, and where the game wins

The pages here describe the game's behaviour as it was when a page was last reviewed. Games change: buildings are updated, key bindings move, menus are reorganised. The game's own menus are authoritative for bindings and mission rules. Where this site and the game disagree, the game is correct and this site is out of date — and a quick email about it is genuinely useful. All content is informational: it is not legal, safety, financial or professional advice, and nothing on this site should be relied on as if it were.

Intellectual property

Two kinds of content meet here. The game's content — its name, its characters, its artwork, its world and everything else inside it — belongs to its creators and their licensors. This site does not claim any of it; the game is embedded from its own origin and used to describe the game. The text of this site — the guides, explanations and tables written here — belongs to this site. You may quote from it with a link back, but you may not republish it as your own.

No affiliation

This site is independent. It is not affiliated with, authorised by, sponsored by or endorsed by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, or the creators or operators of the game. Any resemblance between this site's name and another company's brand is descriptive, not a claim of a relationship. Trademarks named on a page remain the property of their owners.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, this site and the people who write it are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from relying on its content. That includes lost time, lost data, a game session that behaves differently from a guide, or a decision you took after reading a page. Because the site is free, and to the extent the law permits, your remedy for any problem with it is to stop using it.

Disagreements, and how to raise them

This page deliberately does not name a court or a governing law, because doing so would be more intimidating than useful for a free independent site. Instead, if you have a disagreement with this site — about accuracy, about content, or about anything on this page — raise it with us first by email. Write to [email protected] through the contact page, say plainly what the problem is and what you would like to happen, and we will try to resolve it directly. Most disagreements about a guide turn out to be a sentence that needs correcting.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when the site changes, and the date at the top of the page will change with them. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the current version. The privacy policy explains how data is handled, and about this site explains who runs it and how to reach them.

Frequently asked questions

Can I quote or reuse this site's text?

Short quotations with a visible link back are welcome. Republishing whole pages as your own, or bulk copying the site, is not permitted. The game's own content belongs to its creators.

Does the site guarantee that its guides are correct?

No. Pages are tested by a small team and reviewed over time, but the game's own menus are authoritative for bindings and mission rules, and a page can be out of date until it is corrected.

Is this site official or affiliated with Rockstar?

No. It is an independent guide, not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive or the game's creators.

How do I raise a disagreement with the site?

Email [email protected] with what the problem is and what you would like to happen. Disagreements are meant to be resolved directly, without naming a court or a governing law.
